Welcome to a captivating escape to the enchanting island of Bali. This beautiful tropical paradise is not without its problems, and poverty still persists in some parts of the island. During your stay, you will be making an important contribution to the most vulnerable of Bali’s citizens by engaging in a construction and renovation project in a village community.
Your hard work will be rewarded by trekking to secluded waterfalls, visiting tropical islands, swimming in the pristine sea, receiving a Balinese cooking class, and delving into the island's spiritual heritage. The stunning landscapes, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the Balinese people, will create lasting memories on this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the airport, your tour manager will greet you and escort you to your accommodation for the upcoming days. Your tour guide will introduce you to the surroundings, help you settle in, and ensure you're comfortable for the thrilling journey ahead.

Day 2: Ubud
After an orientation meeting in the morning, you will go to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a haven for long-tailed macaques, where you can interact with these playful monkeys. Then a tour of Ubud Palace, the former Royal residence, and a visit to Ubud market - the perfect place to pick up a souvenir.

Day 3: Project Work
Your efforts will have a meaningful impact on the impoverished communities of Bali as you contribute to the construction of vital local infrastructure. The primary goal is building and refurbishing structures crucial for the welfare of the local residents.
Your role will encompass various facets of construction, such as bricklaying, carpentry, painting, tile installation, and landscaping/gardening. You will collaborate closely with a local coordinator and fellow volunteers, receiving valuable guidance and training throughout your involvement in the project.
In the evening, you will be treated to a Balinese dance show.

Day 4: Project Work
You will undertake a second day on the construction project. In the evening, there will be a group dinner outside.

Day 5: Holy Water Temple
Religion and spirituality are a very important part of Balinese culture; this morning you will be instructed on how to make a flower arrangement for an offering at the temple. Tirta Empul stands as a revered temple within the Balinese Hindu community. This sacred site boasts multiple holy springs and is believed to have the power to cleanse and purify those in its waters.
Dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu deity associated with water, Tirta Empul's name roughly translates to ‘water gushing from the earth’ in Balinese; you will make your offering at this sacred spring.

Day 6: Waterfall, Lake Beratan and Jatilu wih Rice Terrace
The day begins with a trip to Giggit waterfall; down a secluded road you will find one of the most beautiful natural wonders you will ever see. There are freshwater pools for swimming, or you can just sit back and admire the view. The day continues with a visit to Lake Beratan, located next to Mount Bratan and Mount Catur. This stunning lake also features a waterfront Hindu Temple.

Day 6: Waterfalls of Bali
Bali is home to a number of breathtaking waterfalls and today you will be visiting three of them. Up first is Blangsinga Waterfall, where the water cascades out of giant boulders. Then on to Tukad Cepung, where beams of sunlight pass through the falls, and finally to Tibumana, enclosed with green ferns, mosses and vines.

Day 7: Sanur
Balinese cuisine is a delectable fusion of robust flavors, exotic spices, and fresh components rooted in the island's time-honored traditions. A chance to seriously expand your culinary repertoire, today you will learn how to prepare your own Balinese dishes with a trip to the market to select your ingredients.
Your new beachfront hotel is on the south coast, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach.

Day 8: Nusa Penida
Breakfast will be served on the island of Nusa Penida, where you will arrive in style by speedboat and spend the day in this tropical paradise. Your guide will take you to three different sites for snorkeling, starting in Manta Point, then to Gamat Bay, and concluding at the secluded cove of Crystal Bay. Throughout the day, you will experience a wide array of marine life in idyllic surroundings.

Day 9: Surfing & Uluwatu Temple
Your last full day in Bali begins with a surfing lesson in the morning. In the late afternoon, you will visit the spectacular Uluwatu Temple, perched 70 meters above the ocean on a steep cliff, offering commanding views out into the Indian Ocean. At sunset, the Kecak Dance will be performed by Balinese dancers, depicting a battle from the Ramayana. For your last evening in Bali, you will be treated to a seafood dinner on Jimbaran Beach, the perfect way to conclude your trip.
